Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek - (23 Days )

Photo Gallery

Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek takes us to remote Tsum Valley which is known as hidden shangrila of Nepal. The hidden valley of Tsum is bordered by Annapurna Conversation Area to the west while Tibetan Plateau secures the northern and eastern border. Enjoy walking through the least explored land where many ancient heritages are yet to be unlocked. Remained closed to outsiders for long time, Tsum Valley was opened for trekking only since 2008. Locals inhabiting Tsum Valley are known as Tsumbas. The people of Tibetan origin, Tsumbas have their unique art, culture and religion which they are still able to preserve in its raw form. These people trade with north for living while crops like barley and maize are chief agricultural produce.  ManasluTsum Valley Trekking is a pleasant experience of crossing river, climbing ridges, walking through gorges to meadow where we can see local Thar and yaks grazing in a vast expanse of ground. The region is also famous for its elusive snow leopard. Lhosar is celebrated with great enthusiasm in the region.

Standard ManasluTsum Valley Trek itinerary at Alaya Holidays is 23-days. However, the itinerary can be customized to meet your requirements. We will visit local gompas and enjoy 360degree view of Ganesh, Annapurna and Manaslu Mountains. We will visit Pungyen Nunnery in Samagaon. Manaslu Base Camp lies close to SamaGaon.
