We are one of the leading trekking agencies in Nepal organizing any sort of adventure & tour activity throughout Nepal. Our company is run by experienced Himalayan guides of Nepal who have been working in the tourism industry for more than 15 years, with a goal to provide a very satisfying experience for all our guests. We always make a special effort to assure your complete safety and comfort.
Our team: Alaya Holidays Team involves womenand men assistants as well as trekking guides on treks and tourist guides for tours, encouraging women’s independence. We support them by giving variousopportunities with regard to the field we work in.
We Care for Your Safety: Your safety isof the utmost important to us. Therefore, when it comes to keeping the overhead costs of our trips low, safety is the one area in which we simply do not compromise. Our guides are selected based on their technical proficiency, proven safety records, impeccable judgment, their friendly demeanor and their ability to provide helpful and knowledgeable instructions.
Responsible trekking policy: Alaya Holidays is proud to announce that we are one of the few trekking companies implementing a ONE TREKKER - ONE PORTER strategy on our trekking trips above 4000 m as from 2016. A personal porter is like having your own personal Sherpa hiker next to you and we want to respect the charge of 15 kilos maximum he can carry. Thus, the ethical way of dealing with porters enables them to work and live a healthy life so, they can continue to support themselves and their families.
Our Commitment to Social Causes: Tourism is an important sector of the Nepalese economy, and as an organization that has been involved in this sector for over two decades, we believe it is our duty to contribute to the Nepalese society in some way. We contribute 2% of our annual profit each year to a non-governmental, non-profit making organization committed to educate and care for those children orphaned by natural calamities and other causes.
